Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Psychologist for Sapphire Ward (Male Acute Inpatient) at the Whiteleaf Centre. The role involves delivering psychological interventions under supervision and contributing to a ward-wide therapeutic programme.

Ideal candidates are psychology graduates with experience working with individuals with severe mental illness, seeking to develop in a supportive NHS setting. The position is 18 months, 30 hours per week, a part-time post.

Qualifications

• Must have psychology degree and be a graduate in Psychology.
• Experience working with people with severe mental illness is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and delivery of care plans with psychological interventions under supervision.
• Deliver group work as part of the ward's therapeutic programme.
• Contribute to training, teaching, supervision and reflective practice within the MDT.
• Curate appropriate psychological resources and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
