Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Assistant Psychologist for Sapphire Ward (Male Acute Inpatient) at the Whiteleaf Centre. You will work under psychological practitioners to deliver individual and group psychological interventions, developing clinical skills in a supportive setting.

This 18-month fixed-term post is a part-time role (30 hours/week). It suits graduates in Psychology aiming to build a career in mental health with supervision and clear progression.

Qualifications

• An upper second-class or first-class honours degree in psychology.
• Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
• Post-graduate training in psychology/mental health is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and delivery of care plans with psychological intervention under supervision.
• Deliver group work as part of ward's therapeutic programme.
• Contribute to training, supervision, and reflective practice within the MDT.
• Curate appropriate psychological resources for the ward.
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings.
