Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Assistant Psychologist to join the Adult Autism Diagnostic Team in Sidcup. The post supports the diagnostic assessment service for adults with suspected autism and complex comorbidities. You will assist in neurodevelopmental interviews, history taking, and drafting specialist reports under supervision.

The role offers opportunities to develop specialist skills in clinical assessments and contribute to MDT activities within a NHS trust setting.

Qualifikationen

• Assisting in the formulation and delivery of diagnostic assessments for people with suspected Autism without Learning Disabilities and with complex mental health and psychiatric disorders.
• Delivery of neurodevelopmental clinical interviews and developmental histories interviews.
• Drafting specialist reports and contributing to formulation and outcomes within the diagnostic process.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the formulation and delivery of diagnostic assessments for people with suspected Autism without Learning Disabilities and with complex mental health and psychiatric disorders.
• Support the delivery of neurodevelopmental clinical interviews and developmental histories interviews.
• Draft specialist reports and support formulation and outcome within the diagnostic process.
• Liaise with clinical teams to provide assessment, support, and intervention to adults with autism at risk of acute care admission.
