Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (with flexibility)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Property Manager to join one of our clients, an established and growing organisation dedicated to providing meaningful and important support and services across Eastbourne and nearby areas.

The Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a property management or similar role
  • Excellent telephone manner and clear communication skills
  • Competency in property management systems for reporting, data input, and record keeping
  • Strong administrative and organisational capabilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of landlord/tenant legislation and housing regulations
  • Ability to handle tenant concerns and issues with a proactive and professional approach
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

The Role:

  • Carry out routine inspections to monitor compliance with property standards
  • Manage the full process of tenant move-ins and move-outs, including evictions when required
  • Oversee and coordinate property maintenance, liaising with contractors to ensure issues are resolved promptly
  • Complete weekly inspection reports and maintain detailed property documentation
  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants, handling queries and complaints professionally
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and offer support to vulnerable tenants
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records for all accommodation units, with a focus on temporary housing provision
