The opportunity
Are you looking for an opportunity to progress in store management?
We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our homestore team in Crawley, which could be the perfect match!
What does this role involve:
- Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and taking full responsibility in their absence.
- Inspiring and supporting staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
- Contributing towards the success of the store by:
- Ensuring the highest standard of customer service
- Achieving targets
- Maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising
- Maximising sales through physical and digital channels
- Supporting recruitment and development of volunteers
- Achieving campaign activity expectations
- Working with the manager to generate stock
Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week, requiring flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Due to the volume of collections, deliveries, and donations, the role can be physically demanding but rewarding, as you contribute to funding life-saving research.
