Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of major utilities infrastructure projects across Scotland on a 12-month contract. The role involves coordinating substation and infrastructure works, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety and quality on site, with regular travel to project sites and client locations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in project delivery, exposure to HV substations or heavy industrial projects, and holds a full UK driving

Qualifications

3–5 years' experience in project delivery, project engineering, construction or an Assistant Project Manager position.
Experience with HV Substations, Power Infrastructure, Utilities, Heavy Engineering or Heavy Industrial projects.
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly across Scotland.

Responsibilities

Support Project Delivery: assist the Project Manager to keep substation and infrastructure projects on programme.
Coordinate Substation Works: support construction, upgrades, refurbishment and electrical/civil works.
Ensure HSE and quality requirements are followed on site.
Manage site activities with engineers and subcontractors.
Assist with programmes, milestones and progress tracking.
