Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major new-build substation project valued at over £100m in Central Belt Scotland. You will drive project delivery, engage with stakeholders, and uphold health and safety standards on a high-profile energy infrastructure programme.

This role requires substantial experience in substations or OHL, heavy civils within energy utilities, and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to

Qualifications

• Experience delivering substations or overhead line (OHL) projects.
• Strong background in heavy civils within energy/utilities contexts.
• Proven track record in pre-construction and design management.

Responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of the project, delivering on time, cost and quality targets.
• Lead stakeholder and customer engagement across the project lifecycle.
• Drive health, safety and wellbeing, embedding the Perfect Delivery philosophy.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting with rigour.
• Oversee risk and opportunity management per company procedures.
• Deliver a quality installation exceeding customer expectations.
• Champion continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across team and supply chain.
• Implement Morgan Sindall policies and ensure compliance and best practice.
