Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of off-site structural steel projects across the UK, including North Yorkshire. You will coordinate with Project Managers, monitor programmes, and liaise with design, production, procurement and site teams to ensure smooth delivery.

The role requires willingness to travel to sites across the UK with a start date ASAP. Salary ranges from £40,000 to £47,500 per annum (DOE).

Qualifications

• Some experience in construction, off-site manufacturing, or project management.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and programmes (desirable).
• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in day-to-day coordination and delivery of construction/off-site projects.
• Monitor project programmes, tracking progress against plan and flagging delays or issues.
• Liaise with design, production, procurement and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support communication with clients and subcontractors on project matters.
• Track project costs and timelines, escalating risks to the Project Manager.
