Vertical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Manchester to support the delivery of a varied portfolio within a growing consultancy. You will work alongside senior Project Managers and Directors, gaining exposure across development, procurement and construction from an early stage in your career.

The role offers the chance to coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors while developing your project management skills and pursuing professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Good communication and organisational skills are required.
• Ambition to develop a career in construction project management.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and teams.
• Willingness to pursue professional qualifications such as MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Directors across multiple projects.
• Assist projects from inception through to completion.
• Coordinate architects, engineers and wider consultant teams.
• Support project programmes, meetings, reporting and documentation.
• Assist with procurement and contractor appointments.
• Monitor progress, risk and actions; attend client and site meetings.
