To support our ambitious growth, it is key for ABP to have a strong delivery engine for transforming new opportunities into reality. We have a vacancy within the Major Projects group for an Assistant Project Manager to support development and delivery of key port infrastructure that will support further support our twin missions of Keeping Britain Trading and Enabling the Energy Transition. The purpose of this role is to ensure optimal delivery of the business case through strong cross-functional project management, with the returns of the project optimised throughout its lifecycle. This position offers a long-term career path for project professionals that enjoy the challenge of varying project and geographical environments. Our projects are delivered within our regional context, and this role will deliver in strong collaboration with regional functions. This is critical to ensure we adapt to the local conditions and leverage the resources and expertise already established. To help deliver this transformation, we are expanding our Major Projects team and have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to support the development and delivery of a large-scale port infrastructure project in South Wales: Associated British Ports | Future Port Talbot. This role will play a key part in the Future Port Talbot project, a major regeneration initiative in the energy sector currently in its early stages.
