Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help plan and deliver transport and infrastructure projects across the county. You will work alongside experienced project professionals to support delivery, engage with engineers, councillors, residents and partners, and contribute to improving local communities.

You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and infrastructure delivery, with a clear progression pathway from Assistant

Qualifications

• Experience in project delivery or project support.
• Interest in transport, planning or infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate activities and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of transport and infrastructure projects across the county.
• Work with engineers, contractors, councillors, residents and partner organisations.
• Help manage project programmes, budgets, risks and timescales.
• Support public consultations and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Prepare reports and project updates.
• Gain hands-on experience in project management and infrastructure delivery.
• Lead smaller projects as skills and confidence grow.
