Job summary

South East Water is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to drive technical projects from concept to handover. You will work with the Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver smart solutions while coordinating contractors, engineers, and internal teams.

You will own operational details, set up site visits, manage budgets, and keep digital databases and docs organised, ensuring delivery standards and CDM2015 regulations are met.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND, or a degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Professional project management qualifications (APM/PRINCE2) or equivalent.
• Membership or working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and invoices and track progress with software and experts.
• Report to the project manager on progress through the lifecycle.
• Research project information to support the team.
• Update schedule progress, budget and spend reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on needs and goals for the project.
• Check and review project scopes to meet outputs and quality standards.
• Coordinate technical solutions and compile job packs for deadlines.
• Liaise with internal and external parties for approvals.
• Undertake site visits/audits and conduct project meetings.
• Work with Project Managers on delivery dates, programme and cost analysis.
• Maintain thorough project documentation.
• Review and update processes and procedures.
