Job summary

Atmos Consulting is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager to support the EIA & Consenting team in delivering environmental consultancy projects across the UK, based in Mold with hybrid working. The role offers exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure and development projects, with opportunities to progress into a Project Manager position.

Qualifications

• Experience or an interest in project management within an environmental, planning, engineering or consultancy environment.
• An understanding of the development process and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem solving.
• A genuine interest in renewable energy, infrastructure and sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and administration of projects.
• Assist the team in managing project scope, programmes, budgets, resources and deliverables.
• Help coordinate multidisciplinary teams, specialist consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and maintain project schedules, action trackers and financial records.
• Support the preparation of project reports, technical documents, tender documents and presentations.
• Attend project meetings, client meetings and site visits as required.
• Assist in identifying project risks, constraints and opportunities, escalating issues where necessary.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately and efficiently.
