Job summary

NRS Dounreay is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in planning, coordinating and delivering multi-disciplinary construction and infrastructure projects within the Reactors Area. You will work with project managers, contractors and operations teams to maintain programmes, manage documentation and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include monitoring performance, identifying risks and implementing improvements, and supporting handovers and resource

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction/engineering projects in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM).
• Experience coordinating contractors and overseeing construction activities safely.
• Mechanical engineering background is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of construction/infrastructure projects throughout lifecycle.
• Maintain project programmes and essential documentation.
• Monitor safety, quality, cost and schedule performance and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and operations teams.
