Salary: £25,000-£35,000 for Assistant Project Manager, £35,000+ for Project Manager, based on experience

Our client, a Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy in Winchester, Hampshire, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager or a Project Manager with construction consultancy experience.

Role and Requirements

• Experience working towards chartered status is highly desirable (MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM)
• Degree in a Construction-related subject
• Approximately 2 years post-qualification experience for Assistant PM, or at least 5 years for Project Manager, with a consultancy
• Ability to set project direction, inspire teams, and manage multiple projects
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contracts
• Skills in budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and profitability
• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks
• Proficiency in managing contract forms such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain client and stakeholder relationships
• Ability to manage complex timelines and ensure regulatory and safety standards
• Experience leading change management and reporting to leadership
• Experience with project management software such as Asta PowerProject or MS Project

Salary & Benefits

• Assistant Project Manager: £25,000-£35,000
• Project Manager: £35,000+ depending on experience
