Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to support a large-scale asset rollout in a complex engineering environment. The role is London-based with hybrid working and a contracted rate of £44.19 per hour Umbrella.

The successful candidate will assist with work package management, planning, reporting, risk management and stakeholder coordination, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while supporting governance and financial controls.

Competenze

• Experience in project management within engineering, construction, infrastructure, transport or built environment.
• Experience delivering work packages and controlling projects.
• Understanding of planning, risk and stakeholder management.
• Experience in complex, multi-disciplinary environments is desirable.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable; PRINCE2 or APMP is a plus.

Assistant Project Manager - Engineering / Infrastructure

We are currently recruiting for Assistant Project Managers to support a large-scale, multi-site asset rollout programme within a complex engineering and infrastructure environment.

The successful candidates will support project delivery activities including work package management, progress reporting, risk and issue management, budget tracking, planning, scheduling and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of project and programme workstreams and assigned work packages.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and monitoring delivery against agreed plans.
• Identify and escalat[e] project issues, risks and variances.
• Support reporting, governance, financial management and document control.
• Build effective relationships with technical stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Deputise for the Project Manager when required.

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

• Experience working in project management, ideally within engineering, construction, infrastructure, transport or the built environment.
• Experience supporting the delivery of project work packages.
• An understanding of project controls, risk management, planning and stakeholder management.
• Experience working within complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APMP is desirable but not essential.
