What you’ll be doing
The Mortgage Policy & External Engagement team supports good customer outcomes through the design, development and implementation of effective mortgage policies. This spans both existing customer propositions and new strategic initiatives.
As an Assistant Product Manager, you will support the delivery of mortgage policy, process and journey changes, with a particular focus on the Virgin Money integration programme that will bring together the residential mortgage brands.
Working alongside product professionals and stakeholders from across the Society, you will help shape policy solutions by conducting research, analysing data and assessing the impact of proposed changes. You'll contribute to the development of evidence‑based recommendations that balance customer outcomes, commercial objectives, operational considerations and regulatory requirements.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating activity across multiple teams, preparing materials for governance and decision‑making forums, and supporting the successful delivery of change initiatives. Using data, insight and governance frameworks, you'll help ensure policy changes align with the Society's risk appetite, meet regulatory obligations and deliver good customer outcomes throughout the mortgage lifecycle.
This is a varied and fast‑paced role where priorities can change quickly. You'll need to be organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple activities while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
