Job summary

Polam Hall School is seeking a forward-thinking Assistant Principal - Inclusion to join the Senior Leadership Team from January 2027. The role reports to the Vice Principal of Character and Flourishing and will manage the SEND Manager, SEND Lead Practitioners, SEND Administrator and Alternative Curriculum Lead.

You will act as the school's SENCO and have oversight of Inclusion and SEND across the school, aiming to close gaps for vulnerable pupils, developing and communicating a clear vision and

Qualifications

• Lead on inclusion and SEND provision across the school.
• Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for inclusion.
• Oversee Inclusion and SEND elements of the School Improvement Plan and Self Evaluation.
• Lead More Able Pupils as the More Able Pupil Co-Ordinator.

Responsibilities

• Manage the SEND Manager, SEND Lead Practitioners, SEND Administrator and Alternative Curriculum Lead.
• Ensure that the school carries out its statutory duties regarding SEND pupils, including responses to consultations.
• Take responsibility for Inclusion and SEND elements of the School Improvement Plan and Self Evaluation.
