Star Academies is seeking an Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning to lead on strategy and improvement across the school. The role focuses on driving progress, improving teaching standards and ensuring safeguarding compliance within a high-achieving environment.

The post requires QTS, a degree-level qualification, and a proven record of leading high-achieving faculties with a strong commitment to the Star values.

Formación

• Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are required.
• Experience of effective management of a high-achieving faculty.
• Sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in creating and implementing a strategic plan to drive high standards and pupil progress.
• Ensure all stakeholders are motivated and involved in meeting short-, medium-, and long-term objectives to secure school improvement.
• Assist with safeguarding policy implementation across the school.
• Make decisions based on analysis and interpretation of data and information.
• Perform other duties as discussed with the Principal.

Internal Job Title: Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning

Strategic Direction and Development

Assist in the creation and implementation of a strategic plan which identifies priorities and targets for ensuring that students achieve high standards and make progress, increasing teachers’ effectiveness and securing school improvement.

Ensure that all those involved in the school are committed to its aims, motivated to achieve them and involved in meeting long, medium- and short-term objectives and targets which secure the educational success of the school.

Assist with the implementation of all policies and procedures relating to safeguarding.

Make decisions based upon analysis, interpretation and understanding of relevant data and information.

Perform other duties determined in discussion with the Principal.

You will have:

• A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
• Experience of effective management of a high-achieving faculty.
• Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
