NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a dedicated portering services manager to lead high-quality transport support within Inverclyde Royal Hospital. The role focuses on safe patient transfer, stock control, and service improvement across wards and departments.

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
This role aims to provide a high-quality portering service to the hospital, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of patients, materials, equipment, stores, and other resources between wards, departments, and associated hospital areas. The post holder is responsible for managing and developing portering services, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, staff management, and operational performance.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) may be able to provide visa sponsorship for certain roles, subject to the post meeting the relevant eligibility criteria. Sponsorship is not guaranteed and will be determined on a case-by-case basis following interview and during the pre-employment verification process.
