Hampshire County Council’s Spatial Planning service seeks an Assistant Planner to join the Spatial Strategy and Insights Team. The role blends planning, finance and law, supporting Section 106 enforcement and housing/commercial development across Hampshire.

You’ll communicate with developers, authorities and council colleagues to turn obligations into community benefits. This is a full‑time role with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage developer contributions and travel plan work across the county.
• Handle and analyse data, coordinate enquiries and team tasks, issue invoices for contributions and fees.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and ensure queries are resolved.
