Locations include: Reading, Southampton, Cambridge

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career within a vibrant and progressive employee-owned consultancy, in a friendly team environment where you will be given the encouragement and tools to grow and progress. We are seeking talented and ambitious Assistant Planners / Planners to work on some of the highest-profile projects across the East and South East of England, focusing on city centre regeneration, urban living, major residential developments, commercial development, and significant Net Zero Infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will:

  1. Support and work towards leading a range of local projects and proactively assist with the delivery of major projects.
  2. Have defined responsibilities and client contact from the start.
  3. Provide succinct and commercial advice to clients.
  4. Have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects across the East and South East.
  5. Develop your technical skills and grow your presence in our local markets.
  6. Be part of a dynamic, supportive, and well-established Planning team.
  7. Be supported to obtain chartered membership of the RTPI.

About You

We are seeking highly motivated, ambitious, and dedicated professionals with the ability to think strategically, independently, and to work as part of our team to further develop our business. The ideal candidates will bring energy, ideas, and positivity. You will be a confident team player, enjoy working collaboratively, and be keen to develop technical skills across sectors for prestigious clients. You will hold a relevant postgraduate Planning degree.
