Assistant Planner

Location: Manchester

Salary: £26k-£32k

My client is looking for an Assistant Planner to join their team in Manchester. They are a leading urban planning firm dedicated to creating sustainable, vibrant communities. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, they work on projects ranging from urban revitalisation to transportation planning, contributing to the growth and development of Manchester and across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research and analysis on various planning projects, including land use, demographics, transportation, and environmental factors.
  2. Assist in the preparation of planning reports, presentations, and regulatory documents.
  3. Support project managers in coordinating meetings, community engagement activities, and stakeholder consultations.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  5. Stay informed about relevant planning policies, regulations, and best practices to contribute innovative ideas to projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, or related field.
