Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Planner to join our Building team in London, working on a prestigious project in central London. This role requires a meticulous professional to support planning activities for successful project execution.

What you'll do:

  1. Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating the project programme.
  2. Produce an accurate programme that manages time risk and is trusted by the project team and customer.
  3. Collaborate with the project team and suppliers to produce, challenge, and maintain short-term programmes aligned with the main programme.
  4. Ensure lookahead and supplier programmes are accurate.
  5. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement on the project.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and best practices.
  • Experience in developing short-term programmes for sections of work.
  • Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the construction market, methods, plant, equipment, and labor requirements.
