Assistant Operations Manager – Day / Afternoon Shift Pattern – Based in Tilbury, Essex

Noble Recruiting is seeking confident and experienced Assistant Operations Managers to ensure the smooth running of our client’s warehouse shifts.

Key Details:

• Salary: £37,500 per annum
• Hours: Monday to Friday, no weekends (6:00 am–3:00 pm / 2:00 pm–11:00 pm rotations every 6–8 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee shift operations, ensuring performance targets are met
• Lead and manage warehouse teams
• Support stock management, pick/pack tasks, and vehicle dispatch
• Promote health and safety compliance
• Provide hands-on support and training as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certificate
• Minimum of three years experience in warehouse supervision
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts
• Proactive and reliable approach
