Job summary

Cricklade Manor Prep in Swindon is seeking an Assistant Nursery Manager to lead the Toddler and Pre-School rooms, ensuring high-quality planning and safeguarding. This permanent, full-time role requires 40 hours per week between 7:30am and 6:00pm, with a salary of £31,000 to £32,500 per year.

You will manage a team, liaise with families, coordinate meals, and drive CPD opportunities while upholding the Early Years Curriculum and ensuring a nurturing learning environment for all children.

Qualifications

• Completed Early Years Level 3 qualification
• Experience leading a team in an early years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a room on a daily basis delivering high quality, engaging activities
• Oversee planning, provision and tracking across the department
• Ensure health and safety checks and ratios are maintained
• Liaise with Nursery Manager and SENDCo regarding children with additional needs
• Support parent evenings and update next steps for child development
• Present and maintain stimulating environments in the rooms
