Job summary

Cricklade Manor Prep in Swindon seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Nursery Manager to support a warm, nurturing early years team.

You will oversee the Toddler and Pre-School rooms, plan engaging activities, and ensure safety and quality in line with the EYFS framework while liaising with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• A completed Early Years Level 3 qualification (or higher) is required.
• Experience leading a team in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Experience working with children with additional needs is desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Toddler and Pre-School rooms.
• Lead a room on a daily basis, delivering high quality activities.
• Manage planning, provision and tracking across the department.
• Monitor ratios and child absences.
• Liaise with Nursery Manager and SENDCo regarding needs.
