Job summary

Busy Bees Swindon Peatmoor is seeking an Assistant Centre Director with a strong background in early years education to support the Centre Director in daily operations and educational leadership.

You will lead a dedicated team, shape an engaging curriculum, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a warm, safe environment for children and families at a busy nursery with excellent transport links and a large, experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or higher in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with leadership/supervisory experience.
• Proven track record of educational excellence and curriculum development.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; teamwork-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in daily operations and educational standards.
• Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality curriculum for children.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and high safety/health standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff; build a cohesive team.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service to families.
• Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll, and recruitment.
• Manage records and support financial planning for sustainability.
