Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Innsworth is hiring an Assistant Nursery Manager to help lead and inspire the team while maintaining excellence in daily room responsibilities. You will mentor staff, support the Nursery Manager, and drive quality care and education across our setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Experience leading nursery teams is preferred.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education.
• Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing all aspects of nursery operations.
• Act as a role model, fostering initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
• Build partnerships with families and external agencies to promote collaboration and excellent outcomes for children.
• Ensure EYFS framework is implemented effectively across settings.
• Take responsibility in the Nursery Manager’s absence to ensure smooth operations.
