This is an exciting opportunity to manage our partnership with one of our biggest wholesale brands, Superdry! You will operate at a senior assistant level or be looking to take on more accountability, making influential decisions with autonomy to impact brand performance directly.

Let’s talk quality… When it comes to UK retail, it’s hard to find a company with a bigger focus on quality. We sell thousands of items an hour, and our repeat customer base returns for our renowned quality products. For anyone in the Brands field, this is the place to learn, grow, and thrive.

  • Are you passionate about analysis, trading, managing stock, and relationship development?
Your Role:
  • Fostering a Positive Relationship with Senior Managers at Superdry: Act as the main point of contact for Superdry, collaborating closely to curate commercial collections aligned with customer preferences and market trends. Ensure timely communication to facilitate smooth trading processes.

Build rapport with brand representatives to strengthen partnerships.
  • Internal Collaboration and Business Knowledge: Liaise with internal departments to support brand initiatives and develop a comprehensive understanding of company operations to inform decision-making.
  • Managing Sales Budgets and Profit: Develop and monitor sales budgets for key brands, ensuring alignment with financial goals, and implement strategies to optimise profitability.
  • Preparing Packs and Conducting Brand Visits: Prepare comprehensive packs for selection meetings, providing insights into performance and opportunities. Conduct brand visits to review trading performance and gather insights.
  • In-Season Trading and Markdown Management: Monitor sales performance to identify opportunities for maximising sales and minimising markdowns, implementing effective trading strategies.
  • Training and Nurturing Trainee Merchandisers: Mentor and support trainee merchandisers to facilitate their professional development.
About You
  • Great Communication Skills: Prepare clear presentations, tailor communication styles, and actively listen to feedback.
  • Solid Technical Merchandising Skills: Use data analysis, forecasting, inventory planning, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Energetic, Enthusiastic, and Self-Confident: Approach your role with energy, inspire others, and demonstrate confidence in your decisions.
  • Open-Mindedness to New Ways of Working: Embrace innovation, seek new ideas, and be receptive to feedback and diverse perspectives.
  • Enjoyment of the Product/Trend Side of the Role: Stay informed about latest trends, collaborate with design teams, and use your passion to drive merchandising strategies.
