This is an exciting opportunity to manage our partnership with one of our biggest wholesale brands, Superdry! You will operate at a senior assistant level or be looking to take on more responsibility, making influential decisions with autonomy to impact brand performance.

Your Role:

  1. Fostering a Positive Relationship with Senior Managers at Superdry: Act as the main contact for Superdry, collaborating closely to curate collections aligned with customer preferences and market trends. Ensure effective communication for smooth trading.
  2. Driving Sales Profitability and Building Relationships: Develop strategies to grow sales and profitability, proactively identifying opportunities for revenue and margin improvements through merchandising and pricing strategies. Build strong rapport with brand representatives.
  3. Internal Collaboration and Business Knowledge: Liaise with internal departments to support brand initiatives and develop a thorough understanding of company operations to inform strategy.
  4. Managing Sales Budgets and Profit: Develop and oversee sales budgets, monitor performance, and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
  5. Preparing Packs and Conducting Brand Visits: Prepare insights for selection meetings and conduct visits to review trading performance and future ranges.
  6. In-Season Trading and Markdown Management: Monitor sales performance to maximize sales and minimize markdowns, adjusting strategies as needed.
  7. Training and Nurturing Trainee Merchandisers: Support the professional development of trainees through guidance and mentoring.

About You

  • Great Communication Skills: Ability to prepare engaging presentations and tailor communication to your audience, actively listening and responding thoughtfully.
  • Solid Technical Merchandising Skills: Expertise in data analysis, sales forecasting, inventory planning, and industry trends to support successful trading relationships.
