We are currently looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team!

About The Role

To assist the Merchandiser to effectively plan and trade the relevant Division(s) of responsibility. To initiate and propose actions through analysis of brand, category or attribute trading patterns in order to deliver improved sales, margin or stock-turn results. To support the planning process as directed by the Merchandiser, through assortment / range plans and liaison with buying colleagues. To deputise for the Merchandiser in their absence.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You

In this role, you will support the Merchandiser in delivering accurate planning, forecasting, and trading decisions that drive commercial success. You'll work closely with Buying and key stakeholders to manage stock, maximise sales, and mitigate risks across the product lifecycle.

Some key responsibilities include:

Assisting with in-season reviews and understanding sales, margin, and OTB plans.
Supporting range planning by analysing historical sales and space allocation.
Producing and maintaining accurate weekly trade reports.
Monitoring OTB spend, stock turn, receipts, and aged stock.
Contributing to clearance strategies and identifying markdown risks.
Attending trade and forecast meetings, proposing actions to improve performance.
