Job summary

Singapore Academy of Law seeks an organized programme coordinator to plan and deliver AI fluency workshops and structured training programmes. You will work with agency partners, providers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, participant satisfaction and compliance with funding and SOPs.

The role requires strong administrative skills, experience in event delivery, and ability to manage learning content and assessments.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Communications, Event Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience supporting conferences, seminars, workshops or structured training programmes.
  • Willingness to support early and extended hours when required.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills for programme documentation, accreditation, funding and audit.
  • Meticulous and resourceful, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in training administration, customer management, financial, event and LMS would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of training and programmes, focusing on AI workshops; manage course content and assessments in LMS.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, funding, and audit requirements; prepare event reports and post-event evaluations.
  • Collaborate with agency partners, training providers and internal teams on planning and delivery.
  • Draft briefs, meeting notes and progress reports to support management decisions.
  • Support joint initiatives by consolidating partner inputs with SAL objectives.
  • Incorporate organisational strategies into planning of assigned programmes.
  • Collect feedback and data to flag issues and drive improvements.
  • Supervise support staff and foster professional growth.
  • Take responsibility for assigned components of major SAL events.

Job description

About the role

This role supports the planning and delivery of the Academy’s training and structured programmes, with a primary focus on AI fluency workshops. Working closely with agency partners, training providers, subject-matter experts and internal teams, the role coordinates programmes end-to-end, ensuring a positive participant experience, effective stakeholder engagement and smooth delivery in accordance with timelines, funding requirements and SOPs.

Key responsibilities
1) Programming and Event Delivery
  • Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the Academy’s training and structured programmes, with a primary focus on AI workshops, ensuring alignment with programme and funding objectives. This includes setting up and maintain courses, digital learning content, course materials and assessments in learning management systems.

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, funding and audit requirements across programme execution.

  • Prepare event reports and consolidate post-event evaluations.

  • Propose recommendations for future programme planning and improvement.

2) Collaboration and Partnerships
  • Work with agency partners, training providers and subject-matter experts to support programme planning, delivery and review.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as Marketing on publicity and outreach and Finance on procurement and funding matters.

  • Administer cross-recognition and credentialing arrangements with partner organisations, including certification of programme participants where applicable.

  • Draft briefs, meeting notes and reports to track programme progress and support management decisions.

  • Support the design and execution of joint initiatives by consolidating partner inputs and aligning them with SAL’s objectives.

3) Strategic Planning and Capability Building
  • Incorporate organisational strategies into the planning and execution of assigned programmes

  • Collect and apply data, feedback, and insights to flag operational issues and suggest improvement.

  • Supervise and guide support staff, fostering professional growth while ensuring the effective delivery of assigned tasks.

4) Specialisation and Special Projects
  • Develop and contribute expertise for designated areas, as assigned or based on areas of strength

  • Take responsibility for assigned support components of major SAL events, providing broader exposure and experience beyond the role’s core training portfolio.

Key Specifications

Candidates must have the following:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Communications, Event Management, or a related discipline is preferred. However, candidates with a relevant diploma and demonstrated related work experience, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience, may also be considered.

  • Experience supporting the delivery of conferences, seminars, workshops or structured training programmes, including planning, coordination and onsite execution.

  • Willingness to support early and extended hours, when required.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage programme documentation, accreditation, funding and audit requirements accurately.

  • Meticulous and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and complete tasks within timelines.

  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in training administration, customer management, financial, event and learning management systems would be an advantage.

This position is offered on an initial fixed-term contract of two years.
