Job summary

A leading live music venue in Northern Ireland is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to support the venue's daily operations. The successful candidate will ensure high service standards, manage staff, and uphold compliance with health and safety regulations. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in hospitality is required. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, along with bonuses and other benefits, including 28 days of annual holiday.

SHINE operates the Limelight, Telegraph Building and festivals throughout Ireland including Belsonic and Emerge. We are thrilled to present an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Bar Manager in Northern Ireland’s leading live music venue, the Limelight.

DUTIES
  • To assist senior management with day-to-day running of the venue
  • Maintain service of the highest standard. Uphold standards of quality, presentation and cleanliness throughout the premises at all times.
  • Ensuring company policies relating to cash handling, stock control and stock ordering are implemented weekly.
  • Managing and recruiting a staff body to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
  • Training, motivating and leading bar and floor staff to deliver outstanding customer service requirements.
  • Maintaining strong communication and relationships with other departments including PR, Production and Security to ensure an effective operation.
  • Ensuring Health and Safety is maintained in compliance with licensing, fire, hygiene and security legislation.
Criteria

Minimum of two years’ experience necessary as a key holder in a supervisory or management role in a hospitality setting
