Brunning & Price Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager for The Duke of York in Barnet to drive exceptional service and lead a busy pub team. You will welcome guests, train staff, oversee services and help run events, with input on beer, gin and wine selections.

The position comes with a competitive base salary up to £32,000 plus tronc, a management bonus scheme up to £1,000, paid overtime, and strong staff benefits. A rewarding career path with B&P awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience as an assistant manager or assistant restaurant manager in gastro pubs, restaurants, bars, hotels or hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and look after customers, train and lead the bar/waiting team, manage busy service periods and run special events.
• Decide beers to have on tap and selection of gins and wines to serve, and contribute to events planning.
