Job summary

Marston’s PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a busy pub team and deliver memorable guest experiences. You’ll work alongside the General Manager, stepping in when needed, and drive service, standards, and profitability on every shift.

You’ll motivate staff, manage KPI targets, and uphold the brand’s people-led values. The Aspire programme supports progression toward General Manager, with a lively team and practical benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant/Deputy Manager in a like-for-like branded pub environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage KPI targets and guest service standards.
• Strong people skills and a hands-on leadership approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s
• Inspire and motivateyour pub team on every shift
• Be passionateabout doing the right thing for your team and guests
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
