We are looking for experienced Assistant Managers to join our successful teams in our branches. Assisting the branch manager in coaching and developing a team of consultants, you will lead by example, ensuring that the company’s high standards are maintained. You will draw upon your supervisory experience to support the branch manager in the day-to-day operation of the branch by motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service to maximise sales and overall profitability.

You will be passionate about helping every customer find their ideal holiday. With ongoing training, you will be equipped with specialist knowledge to confidently advise on a wide range of holiday packages, tailor-made experiences, ancillary products, and insurance products, to meet both individual and team sales targets.

Exceptional customer service is essential as our customers are at the forefront of everything we do.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Maximising sales and assisting the branch manager to ensure overall profitability
  • Supporting the effective daily operation of the retail branch and foreign exchange bureau
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing branch staff
  • Providing exceptional customer service to meet customer needs
  • Participating in promotional events to increase branch exposure
  • Using social media to promote offers, generate engagement, and sales leads
  • Leading by example in achieving sales targets
  • Supporting the branch manager to ensure staff productivity and motivation
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times
  • Attending meetings, conferences, and promotional events as required
  • Performing administrative duties effectively
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned
  • Adhering to all company policies and health and safety procedures
  • Respecting all employees, customers, and suppliers
  • Ensuring branch and staff appearance standards are met

What experience are we looking for?
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant
  • Passion for travel and tourism
  • Good travel product knowledge and familiarity with tour operator systems
  • Strong sales and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership experience, preferably supervisory
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Recognised travel qualification (desirable)
