Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking an Assistant Manager for Taco Bell in Cardiff. You’ll help lead the team on shift, uphold standards, and ensure every customer enjoys a warm welcome and great service.

You’ll support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and performance, coach the team, help with stock, and keep the unit clean and organised to handle busy periods. A clear development path to Store Manager awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor/Team Leader/Assistant Manager in busy retail, hospitality, or customer service environments.
• Delivering great customer service and creating a welcoming experience.
• Ability to lead from the front—motivating, coaching, and developing others on shift.
• Able to juggle priorities, stay organised and keep the team focused in a busy environment.
• Understand the importance of standards, compliance, and delivering strong sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and commercial performance.
• Coach the team on shift and help manage stock and routines.
• Ensure the unit is clean, well-organised, and ready for every rush.
• Provide training and growth opportunities to progress toward Store Manager.
