Job summary

TC Group in the UK is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Great Yarmouth team to deliver accounting, tax and advisory services for a varied client base. You will review accounts, manage client relationships and mentor junior staff while working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure timely, accurate work and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ICAEW qualification or finalist.
• 5 years in practice experience.
• Experience with Xero and QuickBooks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with IRIS is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach and client service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts for owner-managed businesses.
• Prepare and review tax returns with timely submissions.
• Complete and review VAT returns and MTD ITSA submissions.
• Help build and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Support Managers and Associates with client work.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
• Maintain CPD and keep technical knowledge up to date.
• Assist clients with ad hoc queries and ongoing support.
