Wildwood Restaurants in Peterborough is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a vibrant front-of-house team and drive memorable guest experiences in a distinctive venue with its own cinema room.

You’ll support a strong management team led by the General Manager, delivering exceptional service, managing events and daily operations, and ensuring every shift runs smoothly with attention to detail and hospitality flair.

Responsibilities

The space creates exciting opportunities for cinema date nights, dinner-and-movie packages, private screenings, children's parties, corporate events and exclusive celebrations, providing a valuable additional revenue stream alongside the core restaurant business.

You’ll be joining a strong and supportive management team led by Zoltan, the General Manager, who has created a positive culture where people are encouraged to develop, work collaboratively, and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your Day-to-day

• Running slick, high-energy services with genuine hospitality
• Leading and supporting the front-of-house team
• Driving footfall and sales with creative outreach (tasters, engagement, flair!)
• Handling all things people-related – from recruitment and training to team wellbeing and performance management
• Managing stock levels, placing accurate orders, and working with suppliers
• Keeping tight control on labour, rotas, and productivity
• Ensuring all operational tasks (including health & safety, compliance and cash handling) are delivered to the highest standard
• Ensuring every guest leaves feeling wowed
