Job summary

At Caffè Nero, Assistant Managers are second in command and vital for the smooth running of the store, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They lead by example and ensure customers enjoy a personalised experience from bean to cup.

Whether you're already a supervisor or aiming to step up, you'll drive standards, manage shifts and deliver brilliant service in a busy cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Have experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a busy, customer facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with training, coaching and managing their team to drive standards and performance.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special! From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Lead by example and provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

The starter rate for Assistant Managers in this location is £12.91 per hour, increasing to £13.06 with service.
