Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager at the Dexter pub, part of Ember Inns. You will bring leadership to the team under the General Manager, coaching staff to deliver excellent guest experiences and mentoring individuals to be the best they can be.

You’ll join Ember Inns, a local venue known for traditional pub grub, roaring fires and real ales, rooted in the community. This role focuses on development, guest satisfaction and teamwork in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a hospitality team and supporting a General Manager.
• Ability to train and inspire staff to deliver great guest service.
• Ability to be a role model and guide team development.
• Proven track record in creating a WOW guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train and motivate the team to deliver high-quality food, drink and service.
• Act as a role model and mentor within the team.
• Lead the team to create memorable guest moments that encourage return visits.
