Job summary

The Cross Keys, a Greene King pub in Somerset near Taunton, is seeking an Assistant Manager who can lead from the front with energy and strong people leadership to deliver outstanding hospitality.

You will coach and develop the team, build relationships with customers and the local community, and drive sales and events. A clear path to a General Manager role is offered with training and career development.

• Has previous experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or similar hospitality role.
• Genuinely loves hospitality and enjoys creating great experiences for customers.
• Has strong people-management skills and knows how to get the best from a team.
• Is a confident and effective communicator.
• Can coach and develop people while holding the team accountable to high standards.
• Leads by example and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
• Has a commercial mindset and wants to grow the business.
• Enjoys building relationships with customers and the local community.
• Is ambitious and wants to progress towards a General Manager role.
• Can bring energy, enthusiasm and new ideas to the Cross Keys.
