Chestnut, an East Anglia-based group of pubs with rooms, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the front- and back-of-house teams and drive exceptional guest experiences across a busy venue. You will work closely with management to deliver financial targets while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates are passionate about locally sourced ingredients, team development, and flexible hours that support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of FOH and BOH teams.
• Hospitality management experience preferred.
• Strong guest service focus and hospitality mindset.
• Experience in wage/stock control and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the FOH and BOH teams to high service standards.
• Collaborate with management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Guide guests through all aspects of restaurant/hotel experiences.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members for performance and culture.
• Manage wet stocks and inventory within the property.
• Drive financial performance by meeting/exceeding targets.
• Maintain a positive work environment and motivate staff.

Job Requirements:

• Lead and inspire the FOH and BOH team to achieve high standards of service.
• Collaborate closely with other management within the property to ensure seamless guest experience
• Leading guests through all aspects of an enjoyable restaurant/hotel experience
• Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.
• Wet stock management within the property
