Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team in the UK. You will support the General Manager during peak periods, run shifts when needed, and drive a positive, energetic environment across the shop.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of Assistant Manager experience in fast-paced casual dining, a strong grasp of food hygiene and safety, and a desire to progress toward General Manager. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

• Experience as Assistant Manager (minimum 1 year) in a fast-paced casual dining setting.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Ambitious individual with a view to progression to General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in all aspects of running the shop during peak shifts.
• Run shifts in the General Manager's absence.
• Keep the team motivated and deliver high energy on every shift.
• Manage customer expectations, consistently going above and beyond.
• Assist with weekly reports, shop orders, and team appraisals/development.

In return you will receive a competitive base salary up to £30,000 per annum plus a generous bonus and excellent benefits!

What will I be doing?

• Supporting the General Manager in all aspects of running the shop during peak, busy shifts.

• Running your own shifts in the General Managers absence.

• Keeping the team motivated and bringing great energy to each and every shift!

• Managing customer expectations, always going above and beyond.

• Assisting with weekly reports, shop orders and team appraisals and development.

What are we looking for?

• Someone who has at least one years’ experience as an Assistant Manager, ideally within a fast-paced, casual dining setting.

• Someone who has great knowledge of both food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

• An enthusiastic team leader and motivator who is a real people person with exceptional interpersonal skills.

• It would be advantageous if you have previously worked within a takeaway setting.

• An ambitious individual who would love to progress to a General Manager in the near future!
