Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza in London is looking for a Second Pizza Chef to join our busy kitchen and help drive our growth.

You will lead shifts, ensure smooth service, uphold high standards, train the team, and collaborate with the Head Chef. We’re a fast-growing, award-winning group offering great progression, a supportive environment, and valuable overtime pay.

Qualifications

• Experience stretching, baking and dough handling in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good command of English in a busy team.
• Excellent communicator who enjoys working with others.
• Willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen service runs smoothly.
• Lead shifts and take ownership in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Adhere to the highest standards, including cleanliness and deep cleans.
• Train the team alongside the Head Chef.
• Complete all prep and manage your workstation.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver pizzas.

Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 17 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we’ve teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries- all on the quest for the perfect pie!

• Training the team alongside the Head Chef.

• Completing all prep as required and taking responsibility for your workstation.

• Work collaboratively in a team alongside the wider team.

• Someone with previous experience stretching, baking and making dough in a fast-paced environment.

• Someone with a good command of English.

• An excellent communicator who enjoys being part of a team!

• Someone who is willing to work weekends.
