L’ETO Group in Soho is seeking an Assistant Manager on Old Compton Street to lead a busy walk-in cafe and develop into Restaurant Manager.

You will manage daily operations, motivate the team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving sales growth.

This role is hands-on, fast-paced and rewards internal development with clear progression.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.
• At least 2 years in customer-facing roles.
• 2+ years in hospitality.
• Experience managing from the front.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and drive branch performance.
• Provide strong team leadership and hands-on management.
• Host guests, take orders and ensure excellent service.

Are you a hands-on people leader waiting for your opportunity to grow into a Restaurant Manager where you’ll get to take full performance ownership of your branch and team?

Our Assistant Managers are tasked with running efficient operations, commercial performance and above all, strong team leadership.

You’ll complete varied activities ranging from cleaning toilets, to supporting with creating a sales growth plan for your caffe.

We are a “walk-in” only business, we don’t need bookings to fill our restaurants!

We’re no office folk here, we expect our managers of all levels to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front. You’ll be getting fully involved in the day-to-day operations of your branch from hosting guests coming through the door, to taking orders.

Essential Experience:

• You’ll have worked in a leadership role in a customer facing environment
• At least 2-years working in customer facing roles
• You’ve worked in hospitality for 2 years or more
• You have experience managing from the front

It would be even better (but not essential) if:

• You have at least 2-years experience at Assistant Manager level in a table service restaurant or cafe
