Job summary

Greene King is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our pub management team in Cambridge. You’ll help run a busy pub, lead by example, and ensure customers and teams have a great time from opening to closing.

You’ll bring energy to the brand, support with training, and uphold high standards of service and safety. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, delivering amazing guest experiences while developing your team and maintaining the Greene King standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused approach to deliver memorable experiences.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Willingness to train and develop staff to meet brand standards.
• Ability to maintain high standards of service and safety.
• Clear spoken and written English to operate safely and manage allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and run the business in their absence.
• Lead the team to deliver excellent customer experiences and bring the Greene King brand to life.
