Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Bursledon is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and lead a front-line team. You will drive guest experiences and mentor staff to uphold high standards of service.

Based in the Miller & Carter – Southampton family of brands, you will act as Duty Manager when the General Manager is away and ensure smooth restaurant performance. A strong focus on training and development is expected to help the team grow.

Responsibilities

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
