Job summary

Miller & Carter Southampton, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and mentor the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead by example, train staff, and drive service excellence across food and drinks while ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and guests feel welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in hospitality or restaurant setting.
• Ability to train and inspire teams to deliver food, drink and service.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Customer-focused with passion for guest experience.

As Assistant Manager at Miller & Carter - Southampton, you’ll bring your experience to the table, supporting the General Manager in leading your team to success. WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS ASSISTANT MANAGER YOU’LL…

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
